COLD Seek Extras For 'Happens All The Time' Video Shoot
June 27, 2005COLD will be filming a video for their new single, "Happens All the Time", on Thursday, June 30 in Los Angeles. "We are looking for strange characters, weird, off center looks are a definite plus!" the band write in their newsletter. "The video is being shot on a beach, so you should be comfortable in a bathing suit, although it isn't required. Must be able to commit to a full 14-hour day. If you are only available for portions thereof, please do not submit. Please send a photograph and a short letter introducing yourself along with past credits, if any, to [email protected]. There is NO PAY, but meals will be provided."
As previously reported, COLD recently changed the title of their fourth full-length album to "A Different Kind of Pain" from the previously announced "The Calm That Killed the Storm". The follow-up to 2003's "Year of the Spider" was recorded in part at Bearsville studios in Woodstock, New York with producer Michael "Elvis" Baskette (CHEVELLE, IGGY POP) and was mixed by Ben Grosse (FILTER, FUEL, SEVENDUST, ALTER BRIDGE). The first single, "Happens All the Time", is currently available for listening at this location.
"A Different Kind of Pain" is scheduled for release on August 30 via Atlantic.
